So I found this picture the other day and thought all might enjoy. Erin being at the top of the list.
A little history...
When we were little we had a dog named Snoopy that looked just like this Weiner dog (Dodson). He used to pooped and pee in the house all the time. Our baby sitter at the time would always get all upset and rub his nose in the dog doo, then drag him by the collar outside. We didn't always get along with her (name need not mention, all who know her know)... and for that reason I think we have immortalized Snoopy. He wasn't that great of a pet, but we felt bad for him and his eventual demise.
His last day in mortality...
One pleasant sunny afternoon Snoopy got out of the backyard, likely after one of his frequent beatings. A guy down the street named Charlie had some Chow dogs and would breed them for money. This meant he had several dogs and on this particular day he was walking all of them. One got lose and attacked our little harmless Snoopy. I don't know all the medical terms so I'll just say that he torn him a new one. The operation was going to be several hundred dollars. Charlie offered to pay for the operation, but it wouldn't be a guaranteed success. Instead of trying to fix Snoopy we put him down.
To ease the pain our Charlie bought another Dodson at the request of our mom. Weiner #2 was a long hair dog named Repsi. His dad was named Rootbeer and mom named Pepsi so we mixed the two. It wasn't long before we all realized that he was a pup and teething. Before eating all our meager belongings we gave him up for adoption. From then on most of our pets fit in an aquarium and was abducted from the wild.
This is posted as a tribute to Snoopy and humor. Enjoy!
